Finally officially working for Adobe Systems Benelux B.V.

Published by Waldo Smeets at 22:14 under Wayback Archive

I’m glad to report that I now officially work for Adobe. In The Netherlands the companies did not merge untill yesterday, so one month later than in the US and we only heard about our new roles today.

The old Macromedians moved into the Adobe office in Amsterdam and I got introduced to the new team. I’m really looking forward to work with this bigger sales force and with all these new products.

In the short term, not a lot will change for me. I think the biggest changes will be that I will not be covering Scandinavia anymore, as they now fall under an other region. For those I’ve been in touch with over there, I’ll inform you within two weeks when I come back from my trip to the States.

Congratulations, I hope the merge will bring you, and the rest of the ex-Macromedia employees, exciting new times with these new products and technologies.

    Good luck!

Congrats mate! Although it still sounds strange, I’m sure you’ll feel right at home at Adobe.

Hi Tjarko, I guess it’s going to be Amsterdam instead. That’s where our office is based now ;-)

Unfortunately I am (Eindhoven). But hey, I’m on the road most of the week and not in the office anyway ;-) And by traing it’s very convenient as our office is close to Amsterdam Bijlmer. So it’s not ideal, but not so bad after all.
