” Welcome to the Macromedia Flash Media Server 2 Public Beta. This public beta is a pre-release version of the next major release of the Flash Communication Server. It is made available on a limited basis* for developers to familiarize themselves with the new features and functionality of the product as well as to enable them to test their applications and ensure they function correctly. ” Get it here, it’s very cool stuff.

It’s kind of a bummer that it isn’t available for Windows XP for trial purposes. When is the linux version coming out?

I’ve installed it myself on Win XP without any issues?

Haven’t read anything about the Linux version yet. But we’ve been in the BETA from the beginning and it’s running very smooth on Windows. Just be sure to ad enough RAM for the production machine (>=2GB).
