I spotted an interesting flash blog today by Jarle Dahl Bergersen. I had not seen this one before but it has got some interesting discussions below it’s posts. Jarle also mentions the shortcomings of my own blog and I have to agree. I myself mis a comments feature. I considered building my own blog-engine but […]

Finally; the Dreamweaver Exchange is slightly awakening. It looks like all the exchange engineers have been busy developing Dreamweaver MX lately and that they finally are getting back to testing some extensions. David Burows from FlashBlog.net considers Fireworks for offline .SWF generation after having seen it’s Data Driven Graphics Wizard.
True, I think that is possible. However, I am not sure which file format FireWorks MX supports and I am affraid that it’s just the Flash 5 format. If so then you can be even more flexible using […]

I was playing around with the new ActionScript feature array.sortOn(”fieldname”) and found out that it does not work if the field you are sorting on contains numbers. Even more specific: it happens when the biggest […]

[extension idea] I love the new Code Hints feature

[extension idea] I love the new Code Hints feature of Dreamweaver MX. It feels like having a daddy watching over your shoulder and telling you what’s next to type. But, as always with these ‘clever’ systems, there seem to be some shortcomings. At the end the Code Hints engine simply searches some […]
